The label table gives equivalent milligram dosages for oral or IV use. It does not address duration of action: agents differ in how long they act, so choose the new drug's dosing interval from its own labeling.
Label limits: "These dose relationships apply only to oral or intravenous administration of these compounds. When these substances or their derivatives are injected intramuscularly or into joint spaces, their relative properties may be greatly altered." The label table also lists paramethasone (2 mg), which is not included here.
Not covered: duration of action or dosing interval, mineralocorticoid (fludrocortisone) replacement, topical, inhaled or intranasal products, and stress-dose or taper schedules. The triamcinolone and betamethasone labels cited are injectable suspensions (IM, intra-articular); the table's triamcinolone and betamethasone values are on an oral/IV basis and do not apply to those injections.
